The Nifty HR21 Hybrid is a self-propelled boom lift that combines diesel power with battery power. It provides around 20.8 m of working height and up to 13 m of working outreach, with a 250 kg safe working load. The hybrid system allows it to work on battery power for quieter, cleaner operation while still having diesel power available for longer outdoor jobs.
With a working height of 20.8 m and outreach of up to 13 m, the HR21 can reach areas that would be difficult to access with a scissor lift. The 4×4 version is also designed for rougher ground, with a 45% gradeability rating for handling slopes and inclines, and a 3.89 m outside turning radius for easier manoeuvring in tighter spaces.
It has a diesel engine and battery system, and the electric side can be used when quiet or zero-emission operation is needed. Its hybrid system can also use the diesel engine to recharge the batteries, so the machine is not completely dependent on finding a mains charging point between jobs.
The ability to use electric power can also make it more suitable for indoor work, quieter locations or areas where exhaust emissions are an issue. The boom, fly-boom and rotating platform give the operator more ways to position the basket around the work area rather than simply moving straight up and down.
