The Genie GS-1932 is a compact electric scissor lift made for working in tight areas and on firm, level surfaces. It has a maximum working height of around 7.85 m, a 227 kg lift capacity and a narrow 0.81 m machine width, so it can get through standard doorways and into restricted spaces. This package also includes a 7×3 2-ton trailer, making it easier to transport the lift between sites.
The GS-1932 is much smaller than the rough terrain machines in this range and is aimed at a different type of job. It is an electric slab scissor lift designed mainly for indoor work and outdoor use on firm, level surfaces.
Its compact size makes it useful in warehouses, commercial buildings, shopping centres, factories and other places where there isn’t much room to manoeuvre. It uses front-wheel drive and has a zero inside turning radius, which helps when working around shelving, walls, machinery and other obstacles. There is also a roll-out platform extension, giving the operator a little more reach from the platform without needing to reposition the whole machine.
The included trailer makes the package more useful for contractors who need to move the lift between different jobs rather than keeping it permanently at one site. The GS-1932 itself is relatively compact and lightweight compared with larger access machines, while the electric drive keeps noise down during operation.
